Throw your own pot on a professional potter's wheel with expert guidance.

Parents can relax while children are absorbed in creativity.

Parties:

Leyla’s parties are best because she has the expertise to guide a complete beginner to produce their own pot with minimal help.

The party involves each person in turn producing a hand thrown pot with Leyla and making a model at the activity table. These can be taken home on the day.

How it works….

Leyla will come to your home or party venue.  Everything will be provided from aprons to floor covering, and please do not worry, in the right hands it is not as messy as you think!

There will be a table set up for model making for the main group to be getting stuck in to while each person has their turn on the potter’s wheel (starting with the birthday boy/girl of course!).

All you need to provide is:
* a place to hold the activity; it can be done in a garage, kitchen or outside in the summer.
* a table.
*a plug socket
*water
*and finally the potential potters!

Need a venue?

Rooms can be hired at Surrey Docks Farm and Art in the Park, both have lovely cafes and make exciting settings for an arty day out.

Prices

Prices start at £120 for the first 5 people and £10 a head there after.  This price is based on the pots going home with the maker on the day, they can be painted at home with acrylic paint when dry.  If you would like to have all or some of the pieces fired I can take them away and glaze them for £10 per item (including postage).
